Pyrometer CellaCrystal PA 44

Article description

The CellaCrystal PA 44 has been developed for optical temperature measurement when growing crystals. The calibration is especially adapted to the production of crystals. Combined with the constant high resolution of < 0.1 K over the entire measuring range and the very high long-term stability, the device meets the requirements for the necessary high measuring accuracy. With the help of the through-the-lens sighting, laser pilot light or video camera, the pyrometer can be precisely aligned to the measuring point.

  • Measuring range 750 to 3,000 °C
  • PA 44 AF 4/5: special calibration for the production of crystals
  • PA 44 AF 7: special calibration for the production of silicon carbide
  • hybrid signal evaluation for high metrological resolution
  • high long-term stability due to minimal self-heating
  • focusable lens for exact adjustment of the measuring distance
  • standard feature: analogue output and USB/RS 485 interface

Emissivity calculator

The correct emissivity to be set on the pyrometer is calculated from the measured value displayed on the pyrometer, the true object temperature, the emissivity preset on the pyrometer and the ambient temperature (necessary for some types).
From the true object temperature, the emissivity of the measurement object, the emissivity set on the pyrometer and the ambient temperature (required for types), the measured value calculated by the pyrometer is displayed.
