The CellaFurnace PX 46 has been developed for optical temperature measurement in vacuum or inert gas furnaces with temperatures up to 3200 °C. The pyrometer, which is based on the two-colour measuring principle, is characterized by a very large measuring range with a constant high resolution of < 0.1 K over the entire measuring range. A special signal processing ensures very high measuring accuracy. Therefore, the device fulfils the high requirements for long-term stability necessary for the production process. With the help of the through-the-lens sighting or the video camera, the pyrometer can be precisely aligned to the measuring point.
