Article description

The CellaCombustion PX 18 measures at a special wavelength at which the chemical components of the hot combustion gas have a high optical density. These devices are used in large combustion plants such as thermal waste disposal plants and coal-fired power plants.

Emissivity calculator

The correct emissivity to be set on the pyrometer is calculated from the measured value displayed on the pyrometer, the true object temperature, the emissivity preset on the pyrometer and the ambient temperature (necessary for some types).
From the true object temperature, the emissivity of the measurement object, the emissivity set on the pyrometer and the ambient temperature (required for types), the measured value calculated by the pyrometer is displayed.
