The Industrial Solution Guide supports interested parties in finding the most suitable system solution for optical temperature measurement for an industry and application. All the information required for a product, such as technical data, operating instructions, commissioning and maintenance instructions, is available directly via the app using a tablet or smartphone in 16 languages. In addition to the product information, technical and application reports can be found in the media library.
The measurement field calculator and emissivity calculator are useful tools for selecting and commissioning devices.
For quick help, you have direct access to the service hotlines via the app

Description
Start menu for selecting the modules
The app has 6 function modules. The desired module can be called up either via tile (1) or via navigation bar (2). The language is selected via the flag (3).
Module product information
It is started with the selection of the measuring device. This can be done via the selector (1) or via the integrated QR code scanner (2). All technical data (3) and the operating instructions (4 ) are available for the selected device.
A selected device can be called up again immediately from the favorites list (5).

Emissivity Calculator Module
Pyrometry is an optical temperature measurement. The temperature is determined from the thermal radiation emitted by a measuring object. The surface and the material have a great influence on the measurement result. The radiation property of the measuring object is set via the parameterization of the emissivity on the device.
The emissivity calculator is an important tool for the commissioning of a pyrometer. It determines the correct value ( 4 ) to be set on the instrument from the emissivity preset on the instrument ( 1), the measured temperature ( 2 ) and a reference temperature ( 3 ). Furthermore, the measurement deviation can be determined for a selected object temperature by varying the emissivity, i.e. a possible change in the material or surface.
In the case of a ratio pyrometer, the calculations can be carried out independently of each other both for the ratio temperature and for the two spectral temperatures.

Measuring field calculator module
The measuring field calculator is a useful tool for determining the complete field of view, the size of the measuring field as a function of the measuring distance, the maximum measuring distance and the minimum size of the measuring area in relation to the optical properties of the device when selecting and commissioning the device.
After entering an attachment lens (1)(if used), the measuring distance (2 ) and the length of the measuring path (3 ), the resulting dimensions of the measuring area (4) and the field of view ( 5 ) are displayed graphically and output in a table (6).
From the data of the field of view, it can be checked whether, when measuring through a viewing aperture, strangulation and thus incorrect measurement is excluded.

Modul Industrial Solution Guide
When selecting a pyrometer, the physical and metrological conditions given for an application, the functional requirements for an instrument or also the integration into the plant controls must be considered.
After selecting the industry (1) and application (2 ), the Industrial Solution Guide is used to select the suitable measuring system ( 5 ) for the general conditions (3 ) and measuring point (4 ) in the production plant. All information on the device and accessories is available for the selected application solution.
