Mixing plant for the production of synthetics
Alkor GmbH, a manufacturer of synthetic products in Munich, Germany, employs process control software supplied by KELLER IAS . We provided the automation for their batch operations and recipe control at a production line comprising 18 equipment components. Metering was carried out by a 1200 kg scale. KELLER software engineers paid particular attention to the fine resolution of the scale in order to accomodate the micro-ingredient feeder. The automation equipment supplied by KELLER IAS included the IM 62, a strain gauge amplifier as well as a high-resolution analogue input module for the PLC.
