Shrink Frame

Improvement:

burner frames with encased burner ledges at the shrink frame

Controlling the fire ...
... is an ability which also produces a favourable effect at the shrink frame. Burners with encased burner ledges achieve, for instance, uniform shrinking of the film. Burn holes cannot occur. Pallets cannot be singed. A frequency-controlled lifting drive takes care of optimum speed adaptation during the shrink process.

It goes without saying that this technical improvement of the shrink frame saves energy and provides automatic adjustment for different pack sizes.

Cutters Type 4155 and 4156

Frequency-controlled drives for belt table and outlet conveyor of cutters, type 4155 and 4156

Smooth start = exact positioning!

That is the formula for safe running. This also applies to the drives of belt table and outlet conveyor in cutters, type 4155 and 4156. A changeover to frequency-controlled drives results in smooth start and stop and, hence, precise positioning of slugs as well as gentle handling of products.

Another advantage of the new drive is their low susceptibility to failures.

Chamfering Device

adjusting device for header chamfering

... means the slugs are exactly in position under the cutting harp.

This is made possible by the installation of an adjusting device for header chamfering resulting in precisely cut products.

By the modification of the drive for conveyor belts in the intermediate table into a frequency-controlled drive the quality of products will be increased one more, since smooth running allows a gentle treatment of wet products.

Even with soft clay only a slight "foot" is formed.

Grippers

Improvement:

Turn, stop, and stand still ...
... this sounds easier than it is.

Grippers with turning gears for 180° and 90° can easily miss the correct stop. A turning gear with gear rim and frequency-controlled drives will help. It causes gentle turning and precise positioning at the stops.

Since jolting is prevented, products will no longer fall out of the gripper.

The replacement of the conveyor belt drive of an immediate table by a frequency-controlled drive will help increase the quality of the products. The smoother running will cause a much more gentle treatment of of wet products.
