KELLER HCW and Rieter-Werke supply floor tile production lines to Vietnam
[February 2011] In cooperation with Rieter-Werke, KELLER HCW could supply in 2010 two production lines for the manufacturing of large-sized terra cotta floor tiles to our customers in Vietnam.
The extruder with proven Rieter technology consists of the de-airing double shaft mixer and the worm extruder. The optimal clay column is guaranteed by the control system with learning humidity control from KELLER HCW.
Behind the extruder die the high-performance puncher of KELLER HCW cuts floor and facing tiles up to a width of 700 mm and cutting lengths between 50 and 9,999 mm.
The plants are especially designed for the production of floor tiles with fired dimensions of 600 mm × 600 mm and a production output from up to three million square meters per year. In addition also other sizes could be manufactured without any huge reconstruction measures. With corresponding accessories the production from hexagonal or octagonal plates as well as plates with round contours is possible.
Another highlight is set by the additional equipment "lateral cut" which above all is used for the production of steps of staircases or heavy-walled facing tiles.
