KELLER hosted the traditional New Year Doppelkopf tournament
[January 2011] On January 7, 2011, the fourth in-house Doppelkopf (a popular German card game) tournament took place on the premises of KELLER HCW in Laggenbeck. Employees from various departments met and played in a convivial atmosphere in the company’s atrium on Friday evening to determine the winner of this year’s tournament. The proceeds, the pretty sum of 175 € was rounded up to 500 € by the management board and was donated to the society for the prevention of cruelty to animals "Helfer für Tiere in Not e.V." in Ibbenbüren.
The winner of this year’s tournament, Siegfried Hanemann (an industrial mechanic) could defend his title from last year. Second came Alfons Hövelmeyer (a retired sales manager), who was the winner in 2009, and Markus Feldmann (Controlling) came third. Altogether, 34 employees, ranging from apprentices to retired staff members, enjoyed this gaming evening.
