KELLER HCW successful at Tecnargilla 2010 in Rimini
[October 2010] The participation in Tecnargilla 2010 in Rimini was very successfull for KELLER HCW. Together with its partner companies novoceric, morando and Rieter, KELLER HCW presented itself on a large, inviting exhibition stand.
Despite the continuing crisis in the building industry, the atmosphere was quite optimistic. The international audience was outstanding in terms of quality. With the exception of the last day, the exhibition stand was very well frequented. Besides many interesting conversations with industrial partners, many contacts to new prospective customers could be established at the Tecnargilla. A number of immediate sales enquiries were already received at the fair. All in all, the fair has been quite successful.
The latest kiln and dryer technologies, preparation concepts, grinding technologies, robot handling, automation technology as well as worldwide and customer-oriented service technologies were the main topics. Apart from this, the precision puncher for flat extruded tiles was an attraction at the exhibition stand. Furthermore, modern, energy-saving production methods and future-oriented solutions for the brick industry were presented.
Despite the positive outcome of the fair, there has once again been cause for criticism in relation to the organization of the fair. According to marketing manager Wolfgang Brunk, there had been quite a run on the stand at the opening of the fair, which had turned into a less than moderate number of audience by the time the fair ended. Brunk moreover points out that the food served at the fair restaurants was over-priced and of very bad quality. He furthermore criticizes the somewhat long-winded journey to the fair grounds. Due to the fact that there are no direct flights to Rimini in the autumn and winter season, most international exhibitors were forced to fly via Bologna, which meant an additional road trip of about 125 km. This was seen by many as an unreasonable demand. "Compared to the Ceramitec, there are still many weak spots to be found in the organization of the Tecnargilla. I am not the only one saying that there is an urgent need for action by the Italian trade fair organizers in order to improve these conditions!" Wolfgang Brunk states.
