Werner Hövelmeyer – 50 years for KELLER in LAGGENBECK!
[April 2009] 50 years in one company – today a very rare and special anniversary.
On April 1, 2009, Werner Hövelmeyer, a professional well-known to the brick industry, celebrates this anniversary:
He started his apprenticeship in 1959 at the factory of C. Keller & Co. There he learned from scratch and experienced the technical and technological developments within the ceramic industry, specialising in the heavy clay production of bricks, roof tiles and ceramic tiles.
From the practical manufacturing of machinery as well as the planning and project handling of entire factories, Werner Hövelmeyer evolved into a specialist in this sector.
He has been working in the company’s sales department for decades as Area Sales Manager responsible for Southern Germany, Austria and Switzerland. As an all-rounder he oversees special projects and advises the brick factories in the Westphalian Münsterland and beyond.
The "Westphalian born" lives up to his reputation.
Both in his working life and with customers Werner Hövelmeyer is considered helpful, straight forward, honest and reliable. Furthermore, he is characterized by his sense of humour and his cheerful nature.
"50 years KELLER...", Werner Hövelmeyer says and "...how rapid the technical development in our company was and still is; how many ups and downs we have experienced. One could write books about the professional experiences I have had. I have always enjoyed working for “my company” and I always felt comfortable!"
Privately, Werner Hövelmeyer finds support and security with his family. Vacations once a year, walks in the home country, caring for house and garden and playing cards – these are his hobbies.
In honour of Werner Hövelmeyer, the Management Board of KELLER HCW GmbH, Karsten Biermann, Laurenz Averbeck and Robert Kohl, will duly organize an anniversary celebration within a few days.
Congratulations!
