KELLER HCW constructs new tunnel kiln in Surabaya, Indonesia

[November 2008] Roof tiles, ornamental bricks and a wide range of accessories have been manufactured in the Pabrik Genteng "GOOD YEAR" brick plant for two generations. KELLER HCW will construct a modern tunnel kiln for the firing of roof tiles for the family business.

Approx. 39,000 roof tiles are produced per day. Trust in the reliable kiln technology in connection with KELLER HCW’s efficient control system was a crucial factor for the cooperation in this project.

The plant is equipped with a holding room, a preheater, a kiln with conventional brickwork and an outlet sluice as well as the complete kiln car handling system. As well as the proven energy saving components, all units are controlled via the programmable logic control Simatic S7 and the KELLER HCW-process computer system K-matic.
