Construction works in northwest China in rapid progress
[September 2008] The construction works for the new common brickworks of the Chinese building company Xinjiang Urban Construction are right on schedule. That is why – at this year’s Urumqi Fair – the customer showed himself highly satisfied with his cooperation partners.
The profitable order for the project "Urumqi" was placed to KELLER HCW in September last year. It is already the third Chinese project that will be realized by KELLER HCW. In previous years the company based in Laggenbeck had already been awarded two orders to realize projects in Yang Quan and Jin Cheng. In cooperation with associate company Rieter-Werke (Constance), KELLER HCW is now building one of the first energy-saving insulating block plants in northwest China.
The customer Xinjiang Urban Construction is one of the biggest and leading building companies in China. It deals with housing estate and real estate as well as with modern building material production and muncipal water supply.
The factory is intended to start production in 2009. KELLER HCW will supply the technology for key-components. It will also supervise the setting up of locally purchased additional components. Seven state-of-the-art KELLER-high-speed robots will provide highest output and a smooth production flow. Dryers and kilns will be produced locally on the basis of proven KHCW-concepts. Rieter-Werke is to supply circular screen feeders and extruders.
The plant, which will be one of the biggest and most modern plants of that type in China, will be producing 1.200 tons a day and more than 22 million insulating blocks a year. This order is a milestone for KELLER HCW as it helps to strengthen the company’s position as a leading supplier of large import machinery and plants on the hard-fought Chinese market.
