New record attendance at Brick & Tile Exhibition in Hangzhou

[September 2008] The «11th International Exhibition on Wall and Roof Materials Equipment», held by the Chinese trade journal «Brick & Tile» in Hangzhou, ended with a new record attendance. Accordingly, the exhibition stand of KELLER HCW and Rieter-Werke was very well attended. As in previous years, Chinese brick manufacturers showed special interest in state-of-the-art robot solutions offered by the plant and machine manufacturer headquartered in Laggenbeck as well as in KHCW’s current project in Urumqi.

For Wolfgang Brunk – Marketing Director of the three keyria-companies KELLER HCW, Rieter-Werke and novoceric – the exhibition was an eye-opener as it offered quite a good insight into the country’s market situation. "The Chinese market is subject to constant change. Many suppliers offer rather simple machines and plants. But there are 2 or 3 Chinese companies who have already catched up." Linde Zhang, KELLER HCW representative in Beijing, confirms this statement and adds: "Price policy plays an important role in China. KELLER HCW and keyria are ready to face this challenge by developing market-driven solutions using KELLER HCW key-components and European-style machinery «made in China»."
