Jean-Jacques Wagner presents KELLER HCW in Nanjing
[December 2005] During the 19th China Wall and Roofing Materials, Equipment & Relevant Products Exhibition in Nanjing, Jean-Jacques Wagner, Managing Director of KELLER HCW, and Linde Zhang, representative of the KELLER HCW office in Beijing, presented KELLER HCW and the CERIC Group in two lectures, as well as the Yang Quan Project.
More than 100 specialists of the branch participating in the exhibition were impressed by the plant, which is not only state-of-the-art in China, but at the same time the largest plant. Since commissioning the plant in the summer of 2005 the Nan Zhuang Coal Group in Yang Quan has been producing common bricks mainly using coal mining waste. The yearly capacity is approx. 130.000.000 bricks of different sizes.
Jean-Jacques Wagner was impressed by the interest shown by the Chinese in the ‘made by KELLER HCW’ technology. According to Mr. Wagner the Chinese brick industry has been undergoing a change. On the one hand there are many small brick factories for which a KELLER HCW plant is still a future vision, but on the other hand there are potential customers, especially asking for plant concepts like Yang Quan. By the success of this project KELLER HCW has become known throughout China, and any time large projects are proposed or particular requests are to be solved, our Representative Office in Beijing is contacted. "We succeeded in convincing customers and institutes alike and we are considered as the technological market leader in the People’s Republic of China. By opening our office in Beijing we are directly available on the spot and at the disposal of our customers in a fast and uncomplicated way."
