Foundation stone ceremony for the brick factory OOO "Terbunsky Gontschar"

[September 2005] On July 23, 2005 the foundation stone was laid for a new brick factory with an annual output of 40 million bricks in Terbuny, a village in the Lipezk region of the Russian Federation. The memorial stone was unveiled by Mr. Michael Selivanov, General Director of Atomenergomontag, to the great delight of the Terbunskyan, in the presence of Oleg Korolov, the governor of the region of Lipezk, as well as of representatives of the Russian Orthodox Church, of bankers and representatives of the local administrations.

This brick factory, which will produce high-quality facing bricks and blocks, is on one hand to supply the mainly agriculturally orientated population with high-quality building material and on the other hand to create new jobs in the region.

It is foreseen that the factory will be ready to start production after a short building time in late summer 2006.

The project work for this factory was carried out by KELLER HCW GMBH, who were also entrusted with the supply of the required process engineering for the production and of the required documentation for the construction of the buildings and infrastructure. Rieter-Werke in Constance have been designated as the supplier of the preparation and shaping plant.
